Tutorial

Below is a step-by-step layout of how to make your brown paper banner!

Step 1
First, you will need to buy brown paper. Walmart,              , and Lowe’s all have great options. Check out the Materials tab to find the links!

Step 2
Find a flat wall to tape your banner onto. You can use any material to stick your banner to the wall — my personal favorite is                         . After you have cut and placed your banner on the wall, you are ready for Step 3!

Step 3
Next, you can either freehand your design or use a projector. I use a projector.              has great cheap projectors. Set up your projector with the design you created, and then begin tracing. Trace the banner with chalk or pencil for the best results.

Step 4

Begin painting — this is the most fun part! You can use any colors, paintbrushes, and techniques. Check out the Materials tab to see which options are best for you!

Step 5

Erase any pencil or chalk marks and let the paint dry. Add any final touches you find necessary. Enjoy!

Here is a great video explaining each step!
